Today Supply Chain Solutions LLC (SCS) announces its acquisition of DJR Logistics Inc. (DJR), a company specializing as a third-party logistics and consulting organization. The company began in November, 1995 as a full-service international logistics provider, and is a licensed Freight Forwarder, IATA Agent, US Customs Broker, and an NVOCC. With a mission to create and manage distribution solutions for its customers, DJR incorporated industry-focused capabilities with their suite of supply chain and transportation services to develop customized logistics solutions, much like SCS delivers.

It is truly a perfect match as Supply Chain Solutions will expand DJR’s solutions while maintaining its strong customer service culture. “We’re pleased and excited to complete the DJR acquisition and welcome these prestigious new customers and talented colleagues to Supply Chain Solutions,” Jim Ward, SCS’ President, said in a statement. “We look forward to new opportunities that will be created by the combined resources of our two organizations.”

SCS said the transaction expands its client network in the eastern U.S. and adds a very experienced and like-minded team to our growing family.

The acquired operations include international logistics services such as inbound, country to country, and export solutions. Those segments primarily are in the Cosmetics, Safety Garments, Cellular Accessories, Pet Products and Toys, and Novelties industries.
