The TSA issued a new directive that was effective January 29, 2016 and requires that all air shipments bound for the United States must have the following declaration either on the printed air waybill or in the OSI or SSR sections of e-AWBs.

“The shipper, (Name of Entity) has reviewed all available documentation and has determined that none of the cargo being offered in this consignment or consolidation either originated in, transferred from, or transited through any point in Egypt, Syria, Somalia or Yemen.”

If this statement cannot be made because the shipment originated in, transferred from, or transited through any point in Egypt, Somalia, Syria or Yemen, Supply Chain Shipping cannot handle or facilitate that air cargo.
