Congestion at Rails in Chicago
Weather restrictions and a high export demand are causing severe congestion at the BNSF rail yard in Chicago. This will mainly impact containers that are importing and exporting from the US West Coast, but could also impact other US origin/destination ports as well.
A temporary restriction has been placed by BNSF on the number of containers gating in at LPC, both loaded and empties.
