General Rate Increase (GRI)
SCOPE: West Coast of South America to the USA and Canada
Effective October 31, 2021
Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers of a GRI from Ecuador and Peru to the USA and Canada effective October 31, 2021 as follows:
USD $500 => 20 Foot Dry Container
USD $1000 =>40 Foot Dry Container
Steamship Line: MSC
PSS - Peak Season Surcharge
SCOPE: IMPORT MIDDLE EAST TO USA
Effective October 25th, 2021
MSC will implement an adjustment to the below PSS with the following quantum and effective date for all shipments from the Middle East to USA and Puerto Rico.
USD 2000 => per 20' Equipment
USD 2000 => per 40' Equipment
USD 2000 => per 40'HC Equipment
Reefers and SOC & SOT are subject to the announced increase.

GRI - General Rate Increase
SCOPE: AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND TO USA
Effective November 1st, 2021
Effective NOVEMBER 1ST, 2021 (in-gate/cargo possession date), a General Rate Increase will be applicable for all DRY & REEFER as follows:
USD 1500 per container (DRY & REEFER)

SCOPE: IMPORT & EXPORT TO/FROM MIAMI PORT

BRC - Bunker Recovery Surcharge (UPDATE)
SCOPE: WCSA TO USA
Effective November 1st, 2021
Effective Nov 1st, 2021, Bunker Recovery Surcharge will be applicable from: Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Bolivia to USA as follows:
DRY: 20'- $269 / 40'- $538
REEFER: 20'- $404 / 40'- $808

Bunker Recovery Adjustment Factor
SCOPE: US, Canada EC to/from LATAM, Caribbean
Effective: November 1st, 2021
Please see as per below the updated Bunker Recovery Adjustment Factor to be implemented on Short Term contracts (< 92 days) as from 01 NOV 2021. This charge will fluctuate monthly and will apply to all lanes (except for rates currently subject to Bunker):

SCOPE: U.S. & Canada to all destinations
Effective: November 1st, 2021
Effective November 1st, 2021, for all Dry/Tank and Refrigerated cargo shipments originating from the U.S. & Canada to all destinations, the following GRI shall apply:
Dry/Tank Cargo from all US & Canada Origins:
USD 80/20’
USD 100/40’, 4H’, 45’
Reefer Cargo from all US & Canada Origins:
USD 100/40’RF
*Also applies to Shipper-Owned Containers (SOC).

Environmental Compliance Charge (ECC)
SCOPE: Trans-Pacific Eastbound
Effective: November 1- 30, 2021
HMM would like to advise an updated Environmental Compliance Charge (ECC), effective from November 1st, 2021 to November 30th, 2021 (Both US & Canada) as per below:
Airline: LATAM Cargo
LATAM Cargo carriers are increasing all rates to Long Haul Destinations by $0.60 USD per kilo and Medium Haul destinations (LIM & MAO) by $0.20 USD per kilo. This increase does not apply for Short Haul destinations (CO, CEAM) and will be effective October 18th, 2021.
LATAM Cargo carriers are increasing their fuel surcharge to USD 0.50 per kilo, applicable to Long Haul destinations (Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil except MAO), and USD 0.25 per kilo to Medium Haul destinations (LIM & MAO), effective October 12th, 2021.
