Supply Chain Solutions Acquires Vista Global Logistics

GRAND RAPIDS – Supply Chain Solutions, a global supply chain and transportation management solutions company, announced today it has acquired Chicago-based Vista Global Logistics.
Based in Algonquin, Illinois, Vista excels in a variety of logistics services, including import/export, air/sea shipping, freight forwarding and several others. The company was founded in 2010 by CEO Jeffery Ozburn, who joins Supply Chain Solutions as the two companies come together.
“Vista fits perfectly into the Supply Chain Solutions family,” said Les Brand, CEO of Supply Chain Solutions. “Our team is able to build on Jeffery’s excellent work on behalf of Vista’s impressive list of clients, and much of Vista’s technology – particularly in the area of supply chain visibility – is an excellent complement to ours.”
The combination of the two companies is expected to particularly bolster international operations.
Ozburn has led Vista since 2010, following a stint of nine years as president of Worldtrans International – a company he also founded. Ozburn’s career in logistics dates back to the early 1980s, and he has proven himself as an accomplished forwarder, NVOCC and customs broker – among many other facets of logistics and transportation management.
He joins Supply Chain Solutions as vice president of sales and marketing.
